Fr. Ejaz visited the Parish of Our Lady & St Thomas in September 2013. He told everybody about how Christians are a minority in Pakistan and they are often in a dangerous position – he gives assistance to the children who have no parents to look after them.
Fr. Ejaz needed £20,000 to build his orphanage. The plans are drawn up and he has purchased the land. Now all he needs is to raise the money for building work. Over the last five years he has raised £6,000.
As a school, after discussion, we decided to try and help him raise some of the remaining £14,000.
Working together with the people of our parish and the parishioners of Crook, Tow Law and Wolsingham, we are hoping to help achieve this. Christ asks us, as Christians, to work as his body on earth – this is a way of doing this.
Fund Raising for Fr. Ejaz
So far, the School Council have raised £380 toward this project. This money was raised by cake sales and a raffle.
Fr. Ejaz sent us some photographs of their Christmas Party.
