Sports Day 2019
Friday 21st June was Our Lady and St Thomas’ annual Sports Day. As always, all of the pupils were full of energy and determination. They worked hard to do their personal best and encouraged their team mates. They bowled in cricket, took shots in football, aimed with beanbags, did the standing long jump, threw the javelin and hurdled in order to earn points for their house group.
After listening to Pupil Voice, we introduced more competitive races this year – pupils raced against pupils from different House Groups.
The toddler race and parent races were a huge success and lots of fun. The day concluded with the Key Stage Relays and were very competitive and exciting to watch.
All our pupils worked hard and the team who came out as overall winners were Saint Bede – well done to the blues!
