Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. The table below explains the cookies we use and why.
Necessary cookies enable core functionality such as security, network management, and accessibility. You may disable these by changing your browser settings, but this may affect how the website functions, for example, contact forms may not function.
We have various forms on our website and have systems in place to prevent misuse. Akismet is enabled on the site, the contact form submission data — IP address, user agent, name, email address, website, and message — is submitted to the Akismet service (also owned by Automattic) for the sole purpose of spam checking. The actual submission data is emailed directly to the school. This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, website, and message. The Google reCAPTCHA service is also used in our forms to protect the website from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive challenges to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on the website. It does this while letting important messages from our users through.
